The Ins & Outs of Organic SEO

Organic SEO includes the following:
  • Content pertaining to the interests of your target audience.
    • "Content is king"
  • Content with relevant keywords.
    • "Good content is king"
  • Hyperlinks with keywords.
  • Alt tags and Meta tags which are relevant and unique on each page.
  • Incoming links from relevant web sites and web directories.
You want to avoid:
  • Font colors that are the same as the background.
  • Overuse of keywords.
  • Using frame-based web sites. When search results are returned, they are often returned without the corresponding navigation frame.
  • Automated submissions. Some search engines might consider your site as a "link farm" and disregard it.
